Programs That Support The Whitman Fund
President’s Gift Societies
Whitman College recognizes donors who have given $1,000 or more on an annual basis as part of the President's Gift Societies (PGS).
PGS plays a critical role in providing philanthropic funding for many programs including The Whitman Fund. Your PGS gift to The Whitman Fund supports students’ greatest needs, scholarships, and other opportunities that continue to enhance student life both in and out of the classroom.
Reunion Gifts
Whitman College reunions are an opportunity to reconnect with classmates and give back to your alma mater. This tradition began with the class of 1908. For their tenth reunion, they dedicated the “Class of 1908 Bridge.” This bridge still stands today as their class legacy.
Whether it’s a physical footbridge or a program that bridges students together, reunion classes can support The Whitman Fund with gifts that directly impact students today.
Parent and Family Gifts
Donations from parents and families to The Whitman Fund support the outstanding educational opportunities that are part of your student's Whitman experience. Choose to give to any of the five fund designations, and your family will help enrich student life on campus. Please join our donors in coming together to support all students and to keep our community strong and thriving.
