Texas Bar Landslide near Ukiah, Oregon

I'm working with Ed Farren, a hydrologist for the US Forest Service. I'm going to characterize the landslide: rock decription, what happened, why, and the effects. I'm going to measure the area and thickness of the landslide and calculate volume. I'm going to measure the slope angles and lengths and produce a cross-section diagram. The amount of Mazama ash in Texas Bar Creek upstream and downstream of the landslide will be determined using stream substrate samples and polarizing light microscopy. This data will determine whether the landslide is causing more ash to be introduced to the stream.
