Whitman College has made the decision that the fall 2020 semester will be primarily via remote learning.
As our community begins an academic year like no other in our history, the difficult decision to move primarily to remote learning prioritizes the health and safety of our students, employees and the Walla Walla Valley while remaining committed to our educational mission.
A dedicated team of faculty and staff have spent the summer developing plans for fall that are grounded in the essential Whitman experience: intellectual curiosity, academic rigor and supportive community. We trust that our students, faculty, and staff will continue to thrive with confidence, courage and hope until we return to campus together.
