Tennis and Wine Camp: Learn from the experts, both on the court an off. This nationally recognized camp will be the highlight of your summer. Five different dates to choose from to fit into your busy summer schedule.
Summer College: A well loved Alumni event not to be missed! Join your fellow Whitman Alum in a variety of lectures and field trips that will educate, enliven and entertain.
Summer Dance Lab: This long-running program focuses on developing well rounded dancers who have the proper depth of training and experience that prepares them for a sustained career.
Summer Institute Workshop Series: The aim of the Summer Institutes is to create an experience for area teachers that allows them access to faculty specialists and increase subject knowledge while also encouraging collaboration between colleagues and Whitman faculty. This year we will take a cross cut of the garden by looking at the interactions between living things, investigating life in the soil and digging deep into the soil horizons. Whitman professors will deepen your knowledge while our local school garden expert will guide you through understanding how to meet Next Generation Science Standards in the garden. We will spend 3 days exploring and investigating science in the garden. We will dive deep into topics with Professors Nick Bader, Susanne Alterman and Matt Crook.
Scrambles: Start your Whitman career off right by participating in a Scramble! Each August, small groups of incoming first-years join three upperclass student leaders on an outdoor adventure in the Pacific Northwest.

SCORE (Summer Community OutReach Excursions): The excursions are student-led pre-orientation service trips for incoming Whitman students. These trips allow new students to participate in community service projects in the Walla Walla Valley and to get to know their fellow teammates through hard work and lots of fun.
