Casey Brown

Casey Brown joined Whitman College in January 2023 as the Managing Editor of both digital and print content, including Whitman Magazine and the Newsroom. She is a graduate of Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma and an indigiqueerfeminist scholar. Winning awards as a writer, journalist and photographer, Casey brings passion for artists, storytelling and community to her work. She is the recipient of three awards from the Native American Journalist Association and winner of the Page One writing contest at the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival.
