Templates for Stationery

The communications office creates the templates for all of the college stationery. We began redesigning templates for our stationery using new fonts and department lockups beginning in Fall 2017.

If you are planning to place an order for any type of letterhead, envelope, or other stationery item, and you are using a design from before Fall 2017, please send us samples of what you will need at least one month in advance of the portal's opening to give us time to create new templates for you that fit with our current visual identity.

You can send your samples to Christie Fuller, executive assistant and communications office manager, in Boyer House.

Ordering Stationery

Departments and programs can order stationery twice a year through our print portal. Typically, the print portal will be open for orders for approximately two weeks in early January and in mid to late August.

We will send a notice well in advance of the portal opening times, both in the Fountain and in an email to department assistants, to give you time to send us samples of the items you'll need during the next ordering period.

Ordering Business Cards

If you need to order business cards, send an email to pubprint@whitman.edu. Please make sure your email includes the following:

  • Name
  • Title
  • All contact info to include (e.g. phone, email, fax, cell)
  • Order amount–50, 100, 250, 500 or 1000
