Spring Break Day Pop-Up Event

Wednesday April 7 (free)

Join us on Ankeny for some free gear rentals and instructions on some different activities around campus such as the frisbee golf course, the geocaching course, Big Tree walk, birding walks, and more! 

Bike the Wheat Fields (Spring Break Day!)

Wednesday April 7, 1-4pm ($35)

Take a ride around town to see some of the beautiful views of the Walla Walla valley and Blue Mountains. This is not a mountain biking trip, riding will be only on paved and gravel roads. Bike, helmet, and rental clothing included. 

Afternoon Mindfulness

Friday April 9, 2-4pm ($15)

Wind the week down with a walk to a local park where we’ll then take some time to do a guided or solo meditation. 

Biking and Ecology

Saturday April 10, 1-3:30pm ($35)

Go for a short ride along the Mill Creek trail to Rooks Park while stopping frequently to look out for wildlife and talk about the ecology of the Walla Walla valley. This is not a mountain biking trip, riding will be only on paved and gravel roads. Bike, helmet, and rental clothing included. 

Frisbee Golf

Friday April 16, 2-4pm ($10)

Wind down your week with a round of frisbee golf on the informal Whitman campus course. Frisbees provided! 

Beginning Mountain Biking

Saturday April 17, 1-4pm ($30)

Learn the basics of mountain biking on a casual ride up the Mill Creek Trail to ride at Bennington Lake. No previous experience necessary, mountain bike, helmet, and rental clothing included. 

Spring Break Day Ziplining

Thursday April 23 (free)

Zipline Bonanza! Meet on Ankeny for some ziplining and slacklining facilitated by the Outdoor Program. Free, and no need to sign up anywhere, just come! 

Beginning Mountain Biking

Saturday April 24, 1-4pm ($30)

Learn the basics of mountain biking on a casual ride up the Mill Creek Trail to ride at Bennington Lake. No previous experience necessary, mountain bike, helmet, and rental clothing included. 

Bennington Lake SUP Adventure

Sunday April 25, 1-4pm ($40)

Bike up to Bennington lake with the group where you’ll then get out on the water on a Stand-Up Paddleboard! All gear included and no experience necessary!

Sunday May 2, 10-1pm ($15)

Explore the trees around campus and some local parks with the help of leaders from the Outdoor Program (OP).

Nature Illustration

Saturday May 8, 10:30-1pm ($15)

Walk to a local park to collaboratively or independently work on your drawing and painting skills in the field. Some art supplies provided, although always encouraged to bring your own! 

Ecology Adventure

Sunday May 9, 1-4pm ($15)

Take a break from studying with a walk up Mill Creek where we’ll enjoy the outdoors by getting to know some of the local flora and fauna.
