International students

International Student and Scholar Services works within the Intercultural Center to support international students, scholars and staff at Whitman College as they pursue their educational objectives.

International Student and Scholar Services provides programs and services that help the international community acclimate to life in the U.S. and at Whitman, and to facilitate meaningful opportunities for international students, faculty and staff to contribute to the Whitman community as a whole. The office is responsible for international student orientation, immigration services, student advising up to three years post graduation, and offers a variety of other programs to support the academic and personal well-being of the international community.

    Kyle (he/him/his) serves as the International Student & Scholar Adviser in the Intercultural Center. He graduated from Whitman with a degree in German Studies and Gender Studies, after which he spent several years teaching abroad. He is the primary staff contact for international students and scholars on campus. Aside from International Student & Scholar Services, Kyle provides support to his colleagues for other IC-sponsored programs and affiliated organizations.
