Green Dot  Bystander training is a peer education program based on the premise that each individual wields the greatest amount of influence with those in his/her social circle – from best friends‚ to classmates‚ roommates‚ sorority sisters, fraternity brothers and party buddies. Rather than putting students in front of a group of strangers doing a presentation using a traditional “peer educator” model‚ Green Dot  Bystanders are trained to use their knowledge and ability to influence change with those who already like and respect them. Green Dot  Bystanders will be able to spread “Green Dots ” all over campus and continue to exert their influence to create social change to stop sexual misconduct and interpersonal violence.
