Coming out may be a continual process in one’s life and can be just as difficult every time. However, taking that first big step in coming out can be especially challenging. We are here to support you. You can stop into the office to talk with the LGBTQIA+ Resource Coordinator or attend PRISM's weekly meetings to receive advice from fellow LGBTQIA+ identified students. In addition, PRISM and the Intercultural Center host events in October to celebrate Coming Out Day and LGBTQ History Month. In 2018, we premiered the OUTList, a voluntary "outing" from LGBTQIA+ and allied students, faculty, and staff. This list, which represents the vibrancy of our community, is displayed in Reid from Oct. 12 to Nov. 1.

Below are some articles about coming out that may be helpful.
