Virtual Reunion Weekend
It’s Whitman’s First-Ever Virtual Reunion Weekend!
We wish we could all be together on campus, but this year you can join us from anywhere!
We’ll have live presentations and gatherings, and we’ve curated content from all over campus that you can enjoy whenever you’d like. Live event links will be available before event start times.
Register for the Virtual Reunion—our first 500 alumni registrants* will receive a WhitKit, filled with fun and festive items from Whitman delivered to your home! Information and updates will be delivered to your email inbox, but keep an eye on this page for any updates.
Reunion Weekend Schedule*
June 24-26, 2021

1 p.m. - "Exploring Mars with Robots", a presentation by Rob Manning ’80, JPL Chief Engineer
It has been nearly half a century since the first robotic missions landed and studied the surface of Mars. Since then a series of ever more complex missions have left robotic “foot prints” on Mars and these have revealed Mars to be a place so different yet so similar to our pale blue dot.
How did we get there, what have we learned, how is it relevant to our understanding of our planet and what do we hope to learn and do next? JPL Chief Engineer and Whitman grad Rob Manning '80 will see if it is possible to answer some of these and other questions from his fellow Whitties.

Here are a few we thought were worth sharing for this Virtual Reunion!
