Why I Chose Whitman

The reason I chose Whitman really boils down to the vibe I got on campus when visiting on Admitted Students Day. I remember palpably feeling the non-competitive attitude among the student body. The students with whom I interacted were passionate and engaged scholars but in a genuine, understated way. I really felt as though I could envision myself walking from class to class, studying in the library, and lounging on Ankeny.
