Deep Dive: Whitman’s Engineering Dual-Degree Program

Engineers solve the world’s biggest problems, but those problems are more than just technical. In this Deep Dive, Professor John Stratton, who has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, will share how the engineering dual-degree program at Whitman prepares students to thrive in the legal/social/ethical/technical environments where engineering happens—with lots of time for Q&A.

Are you interested in Math and Statistics courses at Whitman—maybe as a major or to prepare you for other majors in STEM? Join Professor of Mathematics Albert Schueller and Associate Professor of Statistics Marina Ptukhina to hear all Whitman has to offer. They’ll share possible career paths in the mathematical sciences—and how to get you from where you are to where you want to be. Whitman also has several combined majors that might interest you, including Math-Stats, Math-Econ and Math-Physics. It’s going to add up to a great conversation!
