Internships & Alumni Mentors

Whitman students are eligible to apply for a Whitman Internship Grant to help support unpaid internship opportunities. 

Each year, students intern in law-related organizations around the country. Recent students have completed internships at:

• Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (Wenatchee, Washington)
• Tribal Law and Policy Institute (Houston, Texas)
• Three Rivers Law Center (Longview, Washington)
• Manatee County Public Defender (Bradenton, Florida) 
• Friedman & Feiger LLP (Dallas, Texas) 
• Homeless Action Center (Berkeley, California)
• Jacobs Law (Walla Walla, Washington)
• Michael A. Jacobson PS Inc. (Seattle, Washington) 

Whitman students also have access to a mentoring network of Whitman alumni who have graduated from law school and are now leaders in their fields.
