Internships & Alumni Mentors
Whitman students are eligible to apply for a Whitman Internship Grant to help support unpaid internship opportunities.
Each year, students intern in law-related organizations around the country. Recent students have completed internships at:
- Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (Wenatchee, Washington)
- Tribal Law and Policy Institute (Houston, Texas)
- Three Rivers Law Center (Longview, Washington)
- Manatee County Public Defender (Bradenton, Florida)
- Friedman & Feiger LLP (Dallas, Texas)
- Homeless Action Center (Berkeley, California)
- Jacobs Law (Walla Walla, Washington)
- Michael A. Jacobson PS Inc. (Seattle, Washington)
Whitman students also have access to a mentoring network of Whitman alumni who have graduated from law school and are now leaders in their fields.
