Esther Ra

Esther Ra's poem Anatomy of a Korean Inheritance" is in the 2021 Pushcart Prize Anthology.

Esther attended the James Hogg Conference at the University of Stirling before traveling to the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh. While there she helped Professor Alker transcribe manuscripts of James Hogg's work for an edition of James Hogg's Uncollected Works and to gather information on John Galt's novel, Sir Andrew Wylie of that Ilk, which Professor Alker is currently editing. In between Professor Alker and Esther took side trips to Linlithgow, the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots, and to Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott.
