Study Skills

Whitman's rigorous academic environment requires most students to modify the study skills they developed in high school so they can study more effectively and enjoy their free time more thoroughly.

The Academic Resource Center staff is available to assist students as they develop a set of study skills that will work best for them. If you'd like to make an appointment with an ARC staff member for one-on-one study skills guidance, please call (509) 527-5213, email us at arc@whitman.edu, or stop by our office in Memorial 325.

The ARC also hosts Whitman Workshop Wednesdays on topics including time management, reading, note-taking, and test-prep strategies. For more information on workshops, please click here.

More resources can be found below! These forms can help you to improve your study skills.
