Johnston Wilderness Campus

The Stuart and Joyce Johnston Wilderness Campus of Whitman College is located on upper Mill Creek in Oregon, approximately twenty-five miles southeast of the Whitman College main campus .

The 26-acre area includes a main lodge, three residences, and several other buildings.  This property was generously donated by Stuart and Joyce Johnston, '60, in 1998.  A principal use of the campus is environmental projects and retreats. 

Use of this facility is limited to Whitman College classes, student groups and department retreats. The facility is not available for personal use or for rent to private parties. Reservation requests are processed by the Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, via this form.
