Are you interested in learning more about LGBTQIA+ identities and systems, as well as how to support LGBTQIA+ individuals and the community? Do you want to gain more awareness and knowledge of gender/sexuality - including your own? Then get SafeZone trained! This training is open to all members of the Whitman community including students, staff, and faculty.

Please note that the training will include moments of self-reflection regarding gender and sexuality. You will never be forced to share or "out" yourself if you do not want to do so, but will have the opportunity to discuss your own gender, sexuality, and experiences if you are comfortable doing so. Additionally, please be aware that we will have students, staff, and faculty all in one room.

If you have questions, feel free to email Vari Robinson, the LGBTQIA+ Program Coordinator, at robinsvk@whitman.edu

Our next training is on Friday, February 16th, from 3-5pm in Memorial 324. Pizza dinner will be provided. If you want to attend, please sign up here. You must sign up to attend the training.
