Welcome to the Whitman Investment Company home page.

I am glad to introduce you to the club and tell you about our goals and strategy.
The Company manages a portion of the Whitman College endowment as a tool to teach Whitman students
about the world of finance.

Industries, individual companies, and the economy, are discussed and learned about every week by Trustees of the Company. Additionally, these investment stategies and decisions are formulated and acted upon.
The WIC trustees also participate in many off campus educational activities such as seminars and academic conferences.

The Company is responsible for managing the William M. Allen - Boeing Student Investment Fund.
We manage the fund using a long term growth goal, through diversification into core, growth, and fixed income holdings.
The Whitman Investment Company serves not only as a money manager, but also as a way for liberal arts students
to better understand the economic, financial, and business world.
