After a Puget Sound time-out, the Loggers turned the tables and caught Whitman at 20-20. The Missionaries took their final lead of the night on a Puget Sound attack error, but the Loggers tallied the next five points to finish off the set and match.

Whitman jumped in front 9-6 in game one and still led 12-11 on an Alex Graves kill. Puget Sound responded with seven unanswered points to take charge.

Late in the opening game, kills by Olivia Nielson, Rachel Shober and Cecil helped slice the Missionary deficit to 23-20. Back-to-back kills by the Loggers ended Whitman's comeback bid.

Brewer, a first-year middle blocker, led Whitman's offense with 10 kills. Graves had seven kills to go with a match-high 20 digs.

Katie Richards, a junior setter, finished with 25 assists. Junior libero Kelsie Butts added 14 digs.

Whitman next heads to Spokane on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match. The Missionaries then conclude their season on Saturday when they host Pacific at 7 p.m. in Sherwood Center.
