Printmaking & Book Arts Studio Work Study Assistant

Job Description
The work study assistant in the Printmaking & Book Arts Studio will:
- assist in the organization and maintenance of the Prinrtmaking & Book Art Studio
- research current printmaking and book arts practices and techniques to help create a non-toxic and environmentally conscious Printmaking & Book Arts Studio
- clean and sort materials, tools, and letterpress type
- prepare materials for class demontrations
assist in the printing of editions and special projects with Professor Pietrantoni
Skills & Requirements
- prior studio art experience in both printmaking and book arts is required (at least one beginning course in each)
- student should possess good organizational skills and be self-directed
- commit to 6-8 hours per week of work in the studios
Wage
$10.00 per hour. Priority will be given to those eligible for Washington State and Federal Work Study.
