IFSA-Butler: Argentine Universities
Through the Institute for Study Abroad at Butler University, Whitman students may study with Argentine and U.S. students in the vibrant metropolis of Buenos Aires. The program offers the opportunity for students proficient in Spanish to take courses at four different universities in the capital, including the prestigious Universidad de Buenos Aires. Students also have the option to enroll in specialized academic tracks focusing on topics like human rights; gender, diversity, and minority studies; literature; theatre; and cinema. In addition to living in an apartment with local hosts, this program assigns a local graduate student tutor to each student to help participants navigate the Argentine university system.
