March 28: Hosokawa Journalism Lecture - Terry Tang of The New York Times
Terry Tang is the deputy editorial page editor at The New York Times. She joined the Times in 1997, and has since served as editor of the Op-Ed page, an editorial writer covering law, health care and national issues, deputy technology editor, major beats editor for Metro news and an editor at Room for Debate. She was previously a columnist and editorial writer at the Seattle Times, and a staff writer at the Seattle Weekly. Tang has a B.A. in economics from Yale University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. She was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard in 1992-1993.
