WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Whitman College women's soccer team wraps up its season Friday with a home game, which means five Missionary seniors will be taking the pitch for a final time.

The game starts at 11 a.m. at the Whitman Athletic Fields with Lewis & Clark providing the opposition.
The five Whitman seniors are Corina Gabbert, Courtney Porter, Liz Forbes, DeeDee McCormick and Kendall Shibuya.
Gabbert, a midfielder-forward, leads Whitman in scoring this season with 16 goals and six assists.
Gabbert's career scoring totals stand at 42 goals and 12 assists -- the highest numbers since 2008 graduate Kristen Berndt finished with 44 goals and 15 assists.
Gabbert, one of the NWC scoring leaders this fall, earned All-NWC First-Team honors as a sophomore and junior. This year's all-conference awards have yet to be announced, but Gabbert was named last week to the Academic All-District First Team and is now eligible for All-American honors.

Porter, a four-year starter at goalkeeper, has six shutouts this seasaon and 24 for her career.
Porter, who was named to the All-NWC First Team last year (Second Team as a sophomore), leads conference in saves this season.
Forbes, a three-year starter in the midfield, has four goals and two assists this season. Her career numbers include six goals and five assists.
McCormick, a part-time starter a year ago, moved into a full-time role this fall, adding strength and speed to Whitman's back line of defense. She has three assists in the past three seasons.
Shibuya, a midfielder, returned to the squad this season after spending all of last year on a study-abroad assignment. She has three goals and one assist in her three seasons.

Whitman enters Friday's finale with a 6-8-1 record in the NWC, tied for fourth place. The Missionaries, 7-9-2 overall, are 3-1-1 in their last five games.
Lewis & Clark is 2-10-2 in conference and 3-10-5 on the season.
Whitman dropped a 1-0 decision to Lewis & Clark last month in Portland, Ore.
