Senior Fund Chair

Position Purpose:

The Senior Fund Chair will work with the Annual Fund Officer, the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations, and members of the Senior Committee to motivate his/her class to make gifts to the College and encourage class identity through senior events and activities.


Primary Duties:

1. Make a commitment to personally give to the Senior Fund, as well as commit time and energy to complete the overall goal.

2. Recruit a committee who will collectively and individually solicit the entire senior class by letter, email, word of mouth, etc.

3. Oversee production of the class banner and senior t-shirt.

4. Facilitate the senior class meeting on Wednesday, August 29, 4-5pm.

5. Organize events for the class with members of the Senior Committee.  These include milsetones parties throughout the year and a graduation party in May.

6. Schedule and preside over meetings.  Send meeting summaries to committee members who were absent.

7. Work with the Annual Giving Office to maintain donor records.

8. Thank donors after their gift has been made.
