Ceramics/Sculpture Lab Assistant(s)
Responsibilities:
1) Coordinate a schedule for the firing of class work as well as the operation of various kilns for this process;
2) Perform general maintenance of the lab such as cleaning of building tables and the plaster kneading areas;
3) Weekly debring outside raku area;
4) Direct the organization and cleanup in the glaze area;
5) Manage the organization and cleanup of the indoor kiln room;
6) Maintain a loose inventory of supplies needed in the lab both for maintenance and update.
7) Assist students, answer questions, and participate in instructor organized class demonstrations.

Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrate a basic understanding of equipment and tools in the lab and proper safety procedures.
Pay Range: $7.93 to $10.00
