Walla Walla, Wash. - The Whitman Men's Soccer team capped off it's season opening Califronia road trip with a 2-1 victory over Pomona-Pitzer. The Whitman offense was led by Logan Grime and Junpei Tsuji, each contributing a goal to the effort.
The Missionaries struck late in the first half for the first goal of the contest, as Logan Grime got to a deflection just inside the left edge of the penalty area and sent a rocket into the upper-right corner.
