Head Volleyball Coach at Whitman Resigning

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- Carolyn Papineau is resigning as the head coach of the Whitman College women’s volleyball program.

Papineau has been the head coach of the women’s team since 2007. During her tenure, Papineau successfully recruited a roster of strong student-athletes, including the 2010 NCAA West Region Freshman of the Year, and developed one of the strongest blocking teams in the Northwest Conference.

Papineau will continue her role with the USA High Performance program as an assistant coach for the USA Girls Select Continental Team at the High Performance Championships in Des Moines, Iowa this July and is looking forward to upcoming opportunities in her coaching career.
