The Sheehan Gallery works to support the curriculum and to provide exhibitions that will enrich the artistic and cultural experiences of Whitman College and the community. In conjunction with its series of exhibits, the Sheehan Gallery presents contextual lectures and films. The Gallery is also the repository for the Davis Collection of Asian Art and provides special exhibits and study space for the College community and visiting artists and scholars.
Position Title: Gallery Assistant
Description of position: Strong and Helpful person needed over Winter Break to assist in renovation in gallery and set-up for next exciting Exhibit in January. Must be able to lift 100+ pounds.
Skills/Background: Interest in Arts preferred, but not required.
Installation skills and experience with tools a plus. Friendly and proactive disposition preferred.
Number of Hours: 15-30
