IES: Beijing Language Intensive
The IES: Beijing Language Intensive program offers single semester and academic year options for study of Chinese language and culture at the prestigious Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing. The Language Intensive Program offers a combination of intensive daily study of Mandarin Chinese, elective courses taught by Chinese scholars in English, and internships with local firms and social service agencies. The IES Language Intensive Program features a trip each semester to places in China's hinterland, such as Tibet, Xinjiang and Yunnan Province, which serves as a contrast to life in Beijing.
