IES: Vienna Music
Through the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES), Whitman students may enroll in the IES Center in Vienna’s Music Program. This program offers the music student classes such as Music History and Music Theory, and the opportunity to enroll in the regular center courses.

In apartments with Austrian landlords, in a residence hall with Austrian university students, or in apartments with other U.S. students |

Meals: |
Students are responsible for preparing their own meals in their apartment or purchasing them at the local mensa (student cafeteria) or restaurants |

Internships: |
English teaching internships in elementary or high schools. Internships are also available in music research, business, public service, and arts and culture |
