POSITION PURPOSE 

The main responsibility of the student server during the meal is to serve the customers of the dining hall.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES 

  1. Line service
  2. Service in the front of the house
  3. Help with end-of-shift clean-ups
  4. Washing tables
  5. Replenishing dry foods stock
  6. Cleaning the service lines

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  1. Washington State Food Handler’s License

APPLICATION FILING PERIODS

  1. Applications are due by the Friday of the semesters opening week, but we will accept applications throughout the semester for shift substituting positions.
  2. Hiring continues into the second week of the semester.
