POSITION PURPOSE 

The main responsibility of the student server during the meal is to serve the customers of the dining hall.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES 

  1. Line service
  2. Service in the front of the house
  3. Help with end-of-shift clean-ups
  4. Washing tables
  5. Replenishing dry foods stock
  6. Cleaning the service lines

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  1. Washington State Food Handler’s License

APPLICATION FILING PERIODS

Apply as soon as possible.  Shifts are filled by student schedule availability, experience and when the application is received.  We need to fill shifts immediately because we start serving before classes start.  We continue to take applications for a couple of weeks into the semester because job availability changes.
