ASWC Sound and Lights
Position: Crew Member
Wage: $9.07 - $10.07
Job Description
ASWC Sound and Lights is a student-run, student-funded organization created to provide quality sound reinforcement and lighting. To that end, a crew was assembled to run, move, store, and maintain the equipment.
Responsibilities
ASWC Sound and Lights crew members will be responsible for helping to run, move, store, maintain, and learn about the equipment in the possession of ASWC Sound and Lights. The job will require heavy lifting, maneuvering of heavy and awkward equipment, the ability and/or desire to learn to use the sound consoles and/or lighting equipment for different events, evening and weekend hours, and a positive attitude.
Experience
While previous experience with sound and/or lighting systems is a plus, it is not required. A sound crew member should have good work ethic and reliability and training on the ASWC Sound and Lights equipment will be provided.
Hours
Program and event lengths will vary; some will require late nights and/or long hours. Sound and Lights has numerous opportunities for crew members work during the semester. Crew scheduling takes place on a first come basis and is adjusted to meet the need of events/staff.

For the fall 2008 semester applications will be reviewed upon receipt, interviews will begin the week of September 8th, and hiring will continue until all positions are filled.
