Eli Mathieu

Freshman season (2012) - Hit his first collegiate homerun against Sul Ross State in the Arizona Desert Classic. The two-run homerun capped off a 2 for 4 day at the plate.

Prep - Lettered his junior and senior year at Roosevelt HS. Also, wrestled for years on the varsity squad. Played Summer Baseball with the Seattle Pilots.

Academics - Interested in Economics, Biophysics, and Gender Studies.

Personal - Son of Jim Mathieu and Laura Strauss. Has two older brothers, Isaiah Mathieu and Etri Ajbour. His other interests outside of baseball include wrestling, powerlifting, chess, and hiking. Favorite MLB team is the Seattle Mariners and his favorite player is Ryan Braun.
