Scheduled Events: Activities & Events

Description:

The accurate planning and implementation of fund-raising and cultivation events and activities draws donors to your cause. Colleague's flexibility allows you to automate many functions in carrying out successful activities and events. The Activities and Events module is designed to interface seamlessly with Colleague's other modules to ease your efforts in this area.

Purpose:

The Activities and Events class presents the unique features of Activities and Events module. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to use this module to simplify administrative planning for events and activities by automating the invitation process and subsequent recording and monitoring of attendance. Specifically, the class provides:

• Instructions to plan facility usage
• Instructions for maintaining guest/patron and underwriter/sponsor information
• Hands-on practice tracking both projected and actual revenues and expenses
• Hands-on practice maintaining staff/volunteer assignments and reminders

• Colleague Administrators
• Activities/Events Administrators

Prerequisites:

• Completion of the Envision Terms and Concepts computer-based tutorial (if you use the character-based interface) or familiarity with the Guide to Colleague Interfaces (if you use one of the graphical user interfaces)
• Completion of Individuals and Organizations class (or equivalent)
