Date: June 29 - July 1, 1999

Instructor: Sharon Valdez (703) 227-2076

Description:

These modules are the vehicles for providing multiple options for registering students and tracking the academic history of those students.

Registration provides you with the ability to quickly respond to student academic demand by issuing enrollment activity and class roster reports. Functions of this module include checking for schedule conflicts, required prerequisites, repeat course policies, and other restrictions or rules that apply to your specific academic policies. This is the module from which you perform student schedules changes, block registration, and batch de-registration functions. Access to abbreviated admissions screens are also provided if that is needed to support your registration procedures.

Academic Records allows you to view and maintain student demographic data as well as a broad array of essential academic information and history. This includes student academic program history, term-specific data, attendance tracking, academic advisor assignments and history, and analysis of academic progress. This module includes grade processing and reporting, transcript maintenance, transcript and enrollment verification requests and printing, and graduation processing.
