THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA - Federico Garcia Lorca

The Production of THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA was directed by Nancy Simon and produced in a 315 seat, semi thrust, proscenium theatre at Whitman College in the Fall of 1996. Costumes were designed by Ken Kelly. The lighting was designed by Phoebe Daurio. The set was designed by Tom Hines.

Renderings were created by photographing a white model and merging the digitized photo with line art in Photoshop. A sense of light and shadow was layered in as well. All drafting was created in FreeHand. The Freehand files were converted to jpeg files for viewing on the net.(Clarity and resolution were sacrificed in the process.) .

Very Preliminary Idea Sketch
Too Romantic, Too Picturesque - Keep the Floor, Keep the Tile, Like the Gate - Lose the House.
Maybe I really want to do Barber of Seville
