Barbara Undershaft has forsaken her world of affluence to join the Salvation Army. Her choice is challenged by her estranged father, Andrew, a munitions millionaire. The questions of Shaw's comedy remain unanswered a century after its first performance: Can faith, charity, or armaments save the world? Where does morality end and hypocrisy begin? Is the greatest of our crimes poverty? Mark Chamberlin, Whitman '77, takes time out from his Broadway/regional theatre career to play Andrew Undershaft.

In fear of their lives, Rosalind and Celia flee to the forest of Arden. Escaping what they most fear, they discover what they most love. Rosalind disguised as a boy tempts the man she loves to fall for the boy she isn't. This modern version uses music, song and dance to evoke this timeless tale where the boundaries of reality and fantasy merge in a comic masterpiece of love and life.
