This event is held in Jewett Hall, however, all the work is done by the Red Cross with the assistance of TKE. This event will run mid-morning to mid-afternoon. 4 Adopt-a-Highway: at least once every semester, TKE cleans its portion of Highway 12 outside of town. 5. Special Olympics Bike Ride and Barbeque: in the Spring, all of our able members will undertake a bike ride relay across Eastern Washington to raise money for the Special Olympics. All members of the house get sponsors for the riders and this money goes directly to the Special Olympics. We also put on a barbeque to present the check and meet the people who will benefit from this event. |
