Dr. Kate Shuster is one of the country's leading researchers and innovators on matters of K-12 education reform. In coordination with Whitman Teaches the Movement, Dr. Shuster will be speaking on the importance of civil rights education.

Whitman students excel in Koru professional development program
Koru partners with innovative organizations to provide participants with hands-on skill building, mentoring, and networking experiences. Over winter break, five students and two alumni excelled in an intensive project development program for Zulily, one of the fastest-growing online retailers in the country. Stay tuned for information sessions about the 8-week Koru summer program.
Social Entrepreneurship Clinic comes to Whitman
Later this semester, we are bringing to campus Jonathan Lewis, nationally-recognized social entrepreneur and founder of Cafe Impact, to teach his Social Entrepreneurship Clinic. This incredible one-time opportunity is brought to Whitman by generous anonymous donation.
The clinic will be held March 29th - April 1st (starting the last weekend of spring break).
