Community Fellow

The Children's Resilience Initiative (CRI) is cutting-edge, state of the art, community implementation of the application of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) research, brain development research, coupled with resilience research, in raising awareness of the significant behavioral, emotional and physical outcomes of early childhood trauma. Recognized as a national leader in taking concepts (researching findings) and finding application in daily practice and programming of partner agencies, a Fellow will be exposed to many facets, including local community mobilization; national recognition of the number one chronic health epidemic, real time development of tools and strategies to buffer the impact of ACEs, while experiencing day to day implementation and development of community response through the many partners involved in the Children's Resilience Initiative.
