About Whitman Christian Fellowship
We are a community of students and staff that follow Jesus as Lord. We have each been transformed by God’s grace and goodness. As a community we seek to see the world and Whitman College be renewed by the good news of Jesus Christ. Whatever of your faith background we encourage you to come and see what we are about and how life-giving it is to walk in Jesus’ ways and with his Spirit. Students in our community come from a wide variety of church and non-church backgrounds. We are a chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, an interdenominational and national campus ministry organization. We meet together on fellowship on a weekly basis for worship and in small groups for discussion and prayer. We also have opportunities for service, mission and outreach, prayer, and fellowship.
Large Group Worship: 8pm. Science Building Room 165, Gaiser Auditorium. Begins September 13th.
At our worship gathering you can expect to connect with other students, worship God with musical worship, and hear a talk that is based in Biblical teaching and wisdom. This is our primary place where we gather in worship and teaching as a campus Christian community on a weekly basis.
Please contact Kelsie Butts (buttkm@whitman.edu) for more information.
Small Groups: Please contact a small group leader for more information regarding time and location.
At a WCF small group you can expect to connect with other students, discuss scripture, and pray for each other and the needs of the campus and world. Our small groups are designed to be Jesus centered communities that grow together in honest dialogue, outreach, and worship. This is our primary place where students can grow in relationship with one another.
