Service Community

The Whitman Service Community is a group of students who are passionate about community service and pursue that passion in the Walla Walla community as active citizens and volunteers. This group participates in service together through Service Saturdays and other service events, which give the opportunity for students to partner with a variety of community organizations. Any member of the group who is interested can participate in the Give 20 challenge, which encourages students to spend at least 20 hours a semester volunteering. The Whitman Service Community also joins together for dinners and other social events with the purpose of reflecting on service experiences and connecting with one another. Find out more about service opportunities, view and post pictures of students doing service, and connect with other members of the group on our Whitman Service Community Facebook page!
