  • David Nord Award

    An annual prize given for projects designed to address critical issues facing queer communities through a variety of creative and scholarly mediums. Current Whitman College students, faculty members, and student/faculty teams are eligible to apply.

  • Matthew Shepard Lecture Series

    The Matthew Shepard Lecture Series series brings noted speakers and public figures to our community to address hate crimes and issues of equal rights for all persons regardless of sexual orientation.

  • Ally Training by Residence Life

    The Ally Training workshop run by the Residence Life office provides training on how to become a better ally to the GLBTQ community.

  • Queer Mentoring Program

    More information about the Queer Mentoring Program will be available in the Fall of 2014.

  • Coalition

    The Coalition For Gender and Sexuality Awareness is a student-run, student funded organization at Whitman College that is committed to ending homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, and heterosexism through education, activism, and social events.

  • Safe Zone

    The Safe Zone poster signifies that this space is an accepting place for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Transsexual people and those questioning their sexuality or gender.
