The Buddy Program

The Buddy Project

The Buddy Program is a student-run program that connects Whitman students with adults in the Walla Walla community with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create friendships that defy the norm. Whitman students meet with their buddies twice a month on Friday afternoons to form one-to-one relationships through events such as dances, movie nights, arts-n-crafts projects, Special Olympics events, and much more.

The Buddy Program is associated with Walla Walla Parent-to-Parent.
