The Buddy Project
The Buddy Project is a student-run program that connects Whitman students with adults in the Walla Walla community with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create friendships that defy the norm. Whitman students meet with their buddies twice a month on Friday afternoons to form one-to-one relationships through events such as dances, movie nights, arts-n-crafts projects, walks in Walla Walla, and much more.
The Buddy Project is associated with Walla Walla Parent-to-Parent.
