About UsWelcome to the website for The Sirens of Swank, Whitman College's all-female a capella group. Composed of women from all class levels, we are an eclectic group bound together by our love of singing and the female voice. We sing a variety of music, from rap/hip-hop to country and everything in between. We love singing for lots of different kinds of events. In 2003-2004 we sang in Cordiner Hall, the Reid Ballroom, Whitman College Amphitheatre, the Mellow Bean Café, various residence halls on campus, and in private homes. If you are interested in hiring us to sing for you, please email Lauren Hoover Gordon (hooverle@whitman.edu) with the date, time and approximately how long you would like us to perform for. We would love to hear from you! For any prospective Sirens out there, we generally hold auditions towards the end of the spring semester, although we have been known to hold auditions mid-year in the past.
