This year Whitman College’s Art Department has three new visiting studio art faculty. This exhibit, in two parts, is the opportunity to see new work by three artist/teachers new to eastern Washington: Carol Lee Chase’s prints, Anna Heppler’s prints and constructions, and Karen Acker’s sculpture and ceramics.

"I am interested in caputing a viewer's curiosity by presenting collections of ambiguious sculptural objects that refer to familiar forms.
My personal interest in these collections is not rooted in nostalgia, but in the desire to evoke a sense of history thorugh massing and repetition."
