Analogies of the Heart includes a rich, diverse and challenging group of prints (intaglio, etching, wood block and wood engraving), sculpture, constructions, large and small-scale drawings, artists books and sketchbooks by the Michigan artists Dellas Henke and Mariel Versluis. Dellas Henke teaches in the Art Department at Grand Valley State University and Mariel Versluis, when not making prints and constructions, tends a large dairy herd four miles down a dirt road from their shared southern Michigan homestead.
