This weekend, March 29th and 30th, we will sponsor (or, at least get the credit for sponsoring) Kenneth Laws, a professor from Pennsylvania, and his student assistant who will come and give a lecture about the connections between physics and dancing (this is at 4:00 on Friday in Chism Auditorium) . He will also teach a dance class at 1:00 on Saturday in Cordinar Hall for intermediate-level students that is oriented around how the dancer can apply physics to improve their technique. Both events are free and open to the public...all you must do is show up! (If you want to participate in the master class, then you must pick up a free ticket in the College Bookstore or at Earthlight Books...this is just to keep a limit on the number of students in the class). Questions? E-mail or talk to Kelly Ray.
